["Waterman" Ep. V]

Family Guy clone? Maybe...

I can certainly see how people thing of this as a wannabe Family Guy. It definately has a similiar feel to it, and that may even be intentional, but stolen jokes?

I've watched many reruns of Family Guy on Adult Swim, and I've yet to see a single joke in the Waterman series that I'd say was "stolen". I thinks it's just that both series have the same type of vibe to them.

Although I'm not the biggest fan of Waterman (I suppose that not all of the jokes appeal to me personally), it's a very well put together series with some good life to it. I especially love the Transformers references here and there. All I can say is just keep doing what your doing, cuz you doing fine.

P.S. - Hehe, the armidillo went up in flames...

Just wish this was longer.

This was a pretty darn good animation you put together (and again, sorry for making you wait on the lines). You've got some really good idea's. I guess my only real peev with this was the length. It felt like it ended too soon. You've got plenty of potential so keep it up.

There it is...

I think I've been waiting longer than any of the other artists. My short was done back in January. Anywho, I'm glad to see it all came together. Although I feel my short overall was a little choppy, but I guess that's what happens when you do things mainly in movie clips instead of what I'm used to.

I hope you all find my short to be entertaining, and if not, then may you burn.

Holy crap on a stick......

Just when you think you've seen all that sprites have to offer...

Totally unreal. I loved how you took such a 2D object and made it practically 3D. And the choice of Luigi as Agent Smith seemed spot on. Excellent work!

[Saber Battle]

Not seen here everyday

I was expecting another stupid stick movie with lightsabers, but you proved me wrong, and I thank you.

Just a suggestion, it would have been really cool to actually hear the kid get kicked in the nuts. The lack of a sound effect hurt that part a bit. Otherwise it was a fun little movie. Reminds me of when I used to make little home videos with friends.

Why can't the new cartoon be like this?

I feel like the old cartoon I used to watch as a kid has grown up along with me. This was sweet, I didn't want it to end. If you need help with voice acting (especially for one of the turtles), PLEASE don't hesitate to email me.

[The Return of Ganondorf]

I've always known that Ganondorf had issues.

That was wonderful. The slumber party was hillarious. I remembered your first Legend of Zelda animation, and it always got me wishing you'd do another one someday soon. This was a good surprise.

Oh, and that random stick figure cartoon at the end was priceless.

Does that make this a seperate series then? What's it mean.

Anyhow, despite the confusing title, this did help to clear up some of the confusion in the story. It's a very cool series and I'd love to see more of it.

Got me thinking...

At first you had me worried. I was afraid that this would be just another Mario smashes head on block animation, but then you took off on the whole thing and brought up a lot of good questions. Like why doesn't the plant just eat Mario if you goes in the pipe? And how can he breathe under water?
